Dear Spiritual Girls 👋🏾, I know you’re looking for a sacred place, for community, for elders, for teachers, for mentors, for sisters to do all of your woo woo work with — together, off-line. So we’re linking up for a retreat and the first stop is New Orleans because we know you want to go‼️

 

7 Day Retreat Date 📆 : July 17-26

Location: New Orleans, Louisiana

 Itinerary 📋

 Day One - Ancestor Veneration & Altar Building

 Arrival ✈️

We’ll be welcoming all the spiritual girls from around the world into this sacred space we’ll be creating together.  So you know we need an altar and you to help build it. There’s a candle with your name on it and we’ll show you how to bless and dress it. Soul food will be served to the ancestors first and you second.

Iminities:

  • Game of Hoodoo Bingo
  • Dressing Candles Workshop
  • Spirit Offerings Workshop
  • Complimentary Dinner w/ vegan + non vegan options

 Day Two - Cleanse + Burn + Release

Morning 🌅

On the second day we’ll partake in a burn and release ritual. Writing down all of the grievances we brought with us on a page of our Spiritual Girls Retreat journal and burning it.

Afternoon 🌇

Light lunches will be provided because we want your spirit light as feather for the divine work you’ll be doing later.

Get a smoke cleanse and a limpia after lunch to cleanse your spirit for the next work. 

Evening 🌌

It’s a dinner out on the town kind of night but keep it light so you don’t loose your mojo‼️

When we return from dinner we’ll be making mojo bags and if you don’t know what that is we’ll be sure to teach you. We’ll have all of the spirituals you need to make the perfect mojo hand for you. You’ll learn how to “feed the hand too”.

 Day Three - Divination & Prescription Baths

 Morning 🌅

Readings will be provided today complimentary of your host Dora from Shop Omitutu and we can expect it to be an all day thing. The prescription to your reading will be a spiritual bath made for your personal concerns. So you can expect to feel clarity and relief.

Afternoon 🌇

Light lunches will be provided because we don’t want you to loose that feeling.

We’ll close for dinner and hit the streets but don’t go undoing what’s been done.

Evening 🌌

Remember that bag of bones you made yesterday⁉️ Today you’ll be creating a throwing map so you can learn how to use them in your own special method of divination you’ll be creating from scatch.

Day Four - Guided Tour of New Orleans

Afternoon 🌇

Guided tour by a special guest— she’ll be taking us to all of the spiritual hot spots, and you know she’s got a story to tell.

Evening 🌌

Dinner with the spiritual girls at a famous New Orleans restaurant “to be announced”.

Day Five - Spiritual Girl Shopping

 Afternoon 🌇

 Day Six - Hoodoo Doll Making Class 🧵

 Afternoon 🌇 & Evening 🌌

Hoodoo Doll Making Class taught by The Hoodoo Doll Maker — you’ll be stuffing and sewing your own sacred vessel, clearing it to make a fine spirit house, filling it with spirit, naming, baptizing, and aliving it. If you don’t understand what any of that means, let me teach you.

Day Seven - The Last Supper

Evening 🌌

This is the last supper‼️ What better way to end than with a girl feast. Catered because you know on the seventh day we rest. Today we’ll be showing you how to close an altar and dispose of offerings.
