In the Yoruba tradition, Ori means “head,” but it represents far more than the physical head. Ori is understood as your inner consciousness, personal destiny, intuition, wisdom, and the divine guidance that accompanies you throughout life. Caring for your Ori is a spiritual practice rooted in reverence, prayer, and alignment.

Our Ori Oil is handcrafted with nourishing ingredients including coconut, honey, and botanicals traditionally associated with sweetness, spiritual refreshment, and honoring the head. This blend is designed to become part of your devotional practice as you pray, meditate, seek clarity, or prepare for important moments in your life.

Suggested Ori Devotion

You’ll Need:

• Ori Oil
• A white cloth
• One fresh coconut
• Honey
• A quiet place for prayer

Wash your hands and sit quietly. Place a small amount of Ori Oil onto your fingertips and gently anoint the crown of your head, your forehead, and the back of your neck.

Hold the coconut in both hands and offer a sincere prayer, asking that your thoughts, decisions, and actions remain in harmony with the path that God has prepared for you. If you choose, touch a small amount of honey to your lips or fingertips as a symbol of inviting sweetness into your words, thoughts, and life’s journey.

Wrap your head with a clean white cloth for several minutes while sitting in prayer, meditation, or quiet reflection.

As you pray, read:

“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”

Close your prayer by saying:

“May my Ori remain aligned with wisdom, clarity, peace, and purpose. May my thoughts be guided toward what is good, my words spoken with kindness, and my steps directed according to God’s will. May I recognize the path prepared for me and walk it with confidence and gratitude. Amen.”
