This full weekend experience is centered around SAFE DEFENSE physically, spiritually, mentally, and responsibly with a weapon.

Protection is more than prayer. It is preparation, awareness, wisdom, and knowing how to protect yourself in every environment.

This workshop was created to help participants feel more confident, prepared, aware, and empowered in real-life situations.

 

Day 1 — Saturday, June 27
Non-Lethal Self Defense Workshop
Location: Omi Tutu Spiritual Café

Topics Include:
• Situational Awareness
• Conflict Avoidance
• Safety Planning
• Legal Self-Defense Tools
• Empty Hands Self-Defense
• Simple Body Strikes
• Boundary Setting
• Escaping Dangerous Situations
• Spiritual Protection & Awareness
• Protecting Yourself at Home, Work, and in Public

This portion focuses on defense options when a firearm is not accessible or not your preferred option.

Beginner Friendly.

Day 2 — Sunday, June 28
CPL Certification & Firearm Safety Training
Part 1 Location: Omi Tutu Spiritual Café
Part 2 Location: Gun Range in Livonia

Hosted by Ebony “The Pistol Diva”

Topics Include:
• Michigan CPL Laws
• Responsible Firearm Ownership
• Safe Handling & Storage
• Defensive Mindset
• Firearm Safety
• Range Safety
• Live Fire Qualification
• Legal Responsibilities of Carrying

Participants will complete classroom instruction inside the shop before transitioning to the gun range portion in Livonia for hands-on firearm training and qualification.

This entire weekend is focused on SAFE DEFENSE:
Spiritually.
Physically.
Mentally.
And responsibly with a weapon.

Spots Are Limited.

 

Please wear something comfortable for Day 1. We will be moving around and participating in hands-on activities, so dress for comfort.

 

Recommended attire:
• Sweatpants or comfortable pants
• T-shirt or comfortable top
• Socks
The goal is to be relaxed and able to participate fully without worrying about your clothing.
